Parallel Action Blogpost

Over the past week, I wrote a script for a film and filmed it. I got the idea for the film when I was walking around my backyard. I thought that it might be interesting to film someone trying to sneak into the house from the back door, while someone else was inside, completely ignorant of the interloper. I felt that the ending of the film, where the intruder has hot coffee spilled on them, was somewhat humorous. I filmed my parents, who had busy schedules, so I ran into problems regarding the filming. Because of the limited time frame I actually had to film, I wound up doing it in only half an hour or so. Personally, I feel like the film would have been better off if I planned everything better, and started filming earlier, though I am quite satisfied with how it turned out.

For the film, I tried having the characters be in the same area in multiple scenes, though one character was completely oblivious to the other. The film did not have any dialogue between the characters, so I used some music instead. It turned out better than I expected, even though I feel that the music was not the best for the film.
